Hi,
I'm interested in the Samsung SPD-3300N model mainly due to the high zoom. 30x optical zoom is the highest I've seen for surveillance cameras.
The front of my house has pretty low lighting. There are no street lights here.
I'm looking at ranges from 0.01 to 0.06 miles.

You can use this camera to see upto 320feet, but for night time surveillance you need to purchase IR Illuminators. Since you don't have any type of illumination outside at night time, then you have to purchase Infrared Illuminators. Further more, I would recommend you a Pelco VI PTZ camera which has a 35X optical zoom lens and it works great with IR Illuminators at night time. If you have any questions, please just ask.
