My grandma owns a building in which I am acting as the maintenance man. I am having some issues with vandalism and I want to install a system that I hope will first act as a deterrent and second aid in the identification of people commiting vandalism. I am on a limited budget and would like to spend around 400$. I am happy with a vcr time lapse recorder because I live in the building and it is no problem to change tapes. I hope to incorporate my time lapse recorder into my entertainment stand and use my tv as a monitor in order to save money. Is this possible? The first room I want to monitor is 24' x20' with 7.5' ceilings (laundry room). The second 24' x20' with 7.5' ceilings (garage). the third 7' x 4' with 8.5' ceilings (hallway). I don't have a problem with buying a 4 camera system and finding somewhere to put the fourth camera but I have not seen any 4 camera packages with vcr timelapse. Any help is appreciated, I know the information I need is on the internet I just do not feel like I have the time to do the proper research so any help is greatly appreciated. If you need more information just let me know.
