I hope you can help. I need a dvr card but have windows Vista.
What brands support this.??
Maysflower,

Welcome to the board.  At the moment Geovsion is the only DVR  PC card manufacturer that supports Windows Vista.  The Geovision software that supports windows vista is the GV-Series V8.12.  If you have an older version of the Geovision software, you may download this latest version of the software to the following link:

Theres a new DVR card from Wolfcom that will work with Vista and its not expensive. Around a hundred dollars I think for an 8 channel card with 8 audio.

Yeah it's a pretty cool card. I popped it in and installed the software. Only took about 5 minutes. I got the remote view to work today. I had to reconfigure my router to open up the ports. Are you viewing remotely?  I went to the asianwolf.com site and saw that they have heat sinks on the chips. Mine does'nt have them. I found out I got the very first batches. But it still works great with no problems. I also saw the card at http://www.wolfcominnovations.com they seem to have alomost the same logo as asianwolf. Is it the same company?
