I want to have a camera at a remote location, and have the feed put directly on the internet where I can monitor it from my home. How would be the cheapest way to do this?

Are you looking forward to just access the live view any time?
If so you just need to setup Dynamic DNS (http://www.dyndns.org) and
forward the web port to the camera.

If you also want to do recordings and access recordings over the internet you should get a C-MOR, C-MOR video surveillance home page. This box is plug and play and very easy to install. It does all what you need to access remotely your video cam.

I am confused about what to type in to what fields. I went to DynDns website and made a domain. So where do i go from there? And when i want to see my video from another state then i would simply open up the video server E program?
http://www.dttusa.com This is standard in our bundle packages.
