I would like to install an 8-9 camera system at my home location. I am interested in day/night (up to zero lux), weatherproof system. I have a nice LCD computer monitor that I would like to use for monitoring. I am interested in a DVR (that hooks up to my computer) that can be viewed remotely from internet. Additionally, I would like to install a dome camera at both front and back entrances (I think I need this because I would like to view in detail persons coming and going). I would also like to install cameras at 25-100 feet at multiple locations. How should I approach this project? Any recommendations? I have even considered purchasing the DVR and perhaps 3-4 cameras initially…Thanks!

I recommend C-MOR Video, WWW.C-MOR.US. It looks like that' is excactly what you want. You can access locally and through the internet. C-MOR does not even require software installation on your PC.

There are a lot of cameras and C-MOR usually offers a comlete set withe recommended cameras.

The zero lux might be a problem. Infrared light is needed.
