I had a local installer come out and discuss with me my options for putting cameras on the exterior of my house. I was pretty disappointed after he left. I wasn't happy about having bullet style cameras attached to my house in plain view of everyone. Listening to him describe how the wires were going to go from the cameras into my house did not impress me either.

Is there a place that will install cameras so that they will not be easy to see by anyone passing by? I'm trying to catch criminals. I'm also trying NOT to bring down the appearance of my house. Is there anything out there even close to what I'm looking for or am I totally dreaming?

The best thing to do would be to Install outdoor dome cameras.  They look very professional and ellegant as well and they do not bring down appearance of the house. You definitely need to run cables to all the cameras, to this installation, you need to hire a reputable installer to do this job for you. CCTV cameras are installed on the premises to catch illegal activties and furher more it's more like deterence rather then catching criminals.
